How to use the device
1. The device is carefully aligned and reasonable deviation is controlled
Although JSZ type serpentine spring coupling with brake wheel allows large device deviation, the device should also be within the specified value
(1) The clearance between two valve couplings and the alignment of angular deviation. During the installation, measure the clearance between two valve Lingsi serpentine spring couplings every 90 °. The difference between the large value of Z and the small value of Z shall not exceed 0.38mm
(2) Radial deviation alignment. Place a ruler on the two lobe coupling, measure every 90 °, and check with a feeler gauge. The radial deviation shall not exceed 0.38mm.
2 Select appropriate lubricating grease
The lithium base grease with oil injection point temperature ≥ 150 ℃, resistance to centrifugal force, separation stability, no impurities, and no corrosion to carbon steel and nitrile rubber is better.
3 Fill with enough grease
Adequate lubricating grease is very important for the operation of coil spring coupling, and it is recommended to check it once a year. Fill the grease with a grease gun until excessive grease overflows from the hole.
Sensational solution
Simply analyze the solution to the vibration of the serpentine spring coupling. According to the field measurement data, the non drive end oscillation (impeller side) of the fan is less than the drive end oscillation, indicating that the two fan oscillations are not caused by the mass imbalance of the serpentine spring coupling of the impeller itself or the mass imbalance of the fan rotor behind the device. The vibration of each bearing and each direction is dominated by power frequency, with a significant 2-fold frequency component. The coupling manufacturer carefully observed the spectrum diagram, and found no significant frequency of bearing defects, indicating that each bearing is free of defects and has excellent equipment and lubrication. No significant blade passing frequency is found in the spectrum diagram, and the field test proves that the fan oscillation is not related to the baffle opening, indicating that the flow passage of the fan is normal.
Through the above analysis, the causes of problems such as the unbalance of the fan impeller, the unbalance of the fan rotor, the damage of the bearing, the poor lubrication of the device, and the damage of the fan flow passage were eliminated.
However, the bearing oscillation at the drive end of the fan is greater than that at the non drive end. The bearing oscillation at the drive end of the fan is close to and opposite to that at the motor drive end. The horizontal, vertical and axial oscillations of each bearing are large, and the frequency doubling component in the frequency spectrum is significant. It indicates that there may be misalignment between the fan rotor and the motor rotor for both fans. Fault confirmation and handling process Fault confirmation is determined after research, and the alignment of fan rotor and motor rotor is rechecked. First, measure the runout of the fan and motor side journal without disengaging the coil spring coupling housing. Then, disengage the coil spring coupling housing to measure the alignment of the two rotors. After Z, remove the coil spring to measure the alignment of the two rotors.
