1. Good shock absorption and long service life

The coupling is embedded more than 36% of the two halves axially with serpentine spring sheets. The serpentine spring plate with trapezoidal section is made of high-quality spring steel through strict heat treatment and special processing. It has good mechanical properties, so that the service life of the coupling is much longer than that of non-metallic elastic element coupling (such as elastic sleeve pin, nylon rod pin coupling)

2. Large range of bearing variable load, safe starting

The tooth surface of the two half couplings in contact with the spring plate is arc-shaped. When the transmission torque increases, the spring plate will deform along the tooth arc surface, making the force points of the two half couplings acting on the spring plate close. The contact point between the reed and the tooth surface, that is, the torque, changes with the size of the transmitted torque, and its transmission characteristics are variable stiffness. Therefore, it can withstand greater load variation than the general elastic coupling

The buffering effect produced when the transmission force causes the reed to deform along the tooth arc, especially when the machine is started or under strong impact load, can protect the safety of the supporting parts to a certain extent

3. High transmission efficiency, reliable operation The transmission efficiency of the coupling is 99.47% after measurement, and its short-term overload capacity is twice the rated torque, safe and reliable operation

4. Low noise, good lubrication

The aluminum alloy housing is used to protect the spring from being thrown out during operation, and the housing is filled with grease to ensure good lubrication and eliminate the noise when the spring is engaged by the grease damping

5. Simple structure, easy assembly and disassembly

The whole machine has few parts, small volume and light weight. The spring plate with trapezoidal section is designed to fit the trapezoidal tooth slot more conveniently and closely, which makes assembly, disassembly and maintenance easier than ordinary couplings

6. Large installation deviation is allowed

Because the spring plate is in point contact with the tooth cambered surface, the coupling can obtain greater flexibility. It can be installed to work normally with radial, angular and axial deviations
